Aaroh were thhe winners of Pepsi Bettal Of The Band . Aaroh sounded more likes fusion with rags with rock. The band's main thought was that to bring new sound. The band members first got together in 1998 and worked on a few songs. However, they were worried about the name of band, so Kamran and Nabeel met Shoaib Mansoor who was in Karachi at that time to ask him for a name. Shoaib Mansoor [SHOMAN] suggested this name and since then the band has been on the rise. Their live act is very strong and the fact became known to them when they did a few concerts all across Pakistan. People loved their music.

Now after the name dispute Nabeel Nihal "lead/rhythm guitaris, composer" and Kamran Khan "keyboard" decided to give the Name AAROH to Farooq Ahmed "vocalist" and Khalid "bassist".

Why this name?
Shoaib Mansoor a very known artist suggested this name and gave it to Kamijee "Kamran Khan" and Nabeel N.Chishty

Nabeel Nihal Worked alongside many artistes since 1994 and until now has produced two solo albums of Junaid Jamshed ( Us Rah Par & Dil Ki Baat ) and Schehzad Mughul's upcoming album 'JhoomLay .
